Tracks & Trade rarities head to auction

The Churchill MKVII tank due to appear at Tracks & Trade’s auction in April
TRACKS & TRADE

The Tracks & Trade team have revealed some new items due to appear in the upcoming auction on April 20 and 21, 2024.

The first is a rare 1944 Churchill MKVII tank located in Wichita, Kansas. A converted MK VIII, it is currently nonoperational but is mostly complete, featuring an original Bedford 12-cylinder engine and Meritt-Brown gearbox. Named after Winston Churchill, the type was a heavy infantry vehicle used by the Allies in World War Two, with the MKVII version being introduced in 1944. Such iconic tanks rarely come up for sale, so the team have advised that this is a unique opportunity to buy one.

A 1942 Stuart M3 Hybrid, currently located in Mierlo, Netherlands, is also coming up for sale.
