Many vestiges of the Battle of the Bulge, which mainly took place in the Belgian Ardennes, are still visible today, 75 years after the fighting took place. Not only are relics such as foxholes, dugouts and bullet-riddled buildings still to be seen, but there are many memorials, museums and military cemeteries that can be visited.

The area’s populace remember the valour of those that fought for their freedom and so commemorations take place on significant days, and the monuments and museums are maintained so that future generations will know and understand what took place.
