Paul Shepherdson purchased his M5A1 Stuart light tank back in 2006. His first military vehicle was an Austin Champ followed by a Jeep, which he still owns. He did not have any formal mechanical training, although his father was a blacksmith and taught him a few skills. Most of his mechanical knowledge was self-taught from his interest in grass track racing when he started to build his very own racing engines.
