Roger Gaisford realised a boyhood dream of owning a CMP and shares some of his adventures with a 1944 C15A

My grandfather was a Dane by the name of Nils Eigle Friis. He was a driller, boring prospect holes for the coal mines in Northern Natal in South Africa. His company, The Good Hope Drilling Company was based in Dundee, the centre of the Natal coal fields. It is beautiful country with forested hills, open grassland and rivers.
