The Crown Jewels – Concealment from the Enemy

IN A recent BBC Television documentary, presenter Alastair Bruce revealed to Her Majesty The Queen that during the Second World War the Crown Jewels had been hidden in a biscuit tin beneath Windsor Castle. With permission from Her Majesty, Alex Churchill has been to the Royal Archives to investigate the background of the story.
