I recently attended an open evening at IWM Duxford. After several years of rumours it was confirmed that the Land Warfare Hall is to close to make way for a new building - the plans have just been submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council. According to the official line, the vehicles will be ‘absorbed’ into the rest of the museum.
