Elvas has a total of 84 vehicles on display, including many classic cars and military tactical vehicles like the Portuguese-built UMM Cournil and Alter models or the American-built Dodge WC52

Just a two-hour drive from the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, the city of Elvas is home to a must-see military museum with an extensive and rare collection of military vehicles. With the number of exhibits always growing, there are now 84 military classic vehicles preserved in an indoor garage and covered shelterst next to the historic walls of a fortress that overlooks the border with Spain.

Elvas is a fortified city close to many important battlefields of the Napoleonic War. For enthusiasts of Land Rovers and light tactical military vehicles, there is definitely plenty to see in the Military Museum of Elvas.
