Famed for having only been cancelled once in its 58 years of existence, the Well and Steam and Country Rally returned this year with much fanfare.
One show that I really wanted to attend this year was the Welland Steam and Country Rally. This event takes place over the last weekend in July at Woodside Farm, Well and in Worcestershire, with the very first show having taken place in 1964. Since then, it has only been cancelled once which was in 2015 due to very heavy rain. Like many similar steam and country shows, the primary attractions are the steam traction engines, but commercial vehicles, tractors, vintage cars, heavy plant, crafts, models, motorcycles and of course, military vehicles, all attract a great deal of interest.
