Museum of the month

pictures by David Garden and Cornwall At War Musuem

The impressively large Tracked Rapier surface to air missile carrier sits outside the museum buildings beside a Cornish ag. This was based on the M548, a cargo carrying version of the M113 armoured personnel carrier.

The Cornwall at War museum is located in the officers’ site of the former RAflairfield at Davidstow near Camelford, Cornwall. It is privately owned by Steve and Sheila Perry and staffed by a group of volunteers. The museum does not receive grants from any public body and is therefore entirely privately funded.
