A SHROPSHIRE lady has been reunited with a historic family vessel thought to have been lost in 1940. Annie Gabb, 74, who is named after the pleasure cruiser, discovered the wrecked boat for sale on eBay as she helped her son research the family tree. The boat, Anne, belonged to Annie’s grandfather, Percy Darby, but was taken for use in Operation Dynamo, the heroic lifting of British and French troops from Dunkirk.
