Everything fell into place for a military enthusiast at the 2023 Overlord Show, as Glenn Sands reports

Based on a Panzer 38(t) chassis used post-war by the Swedish Army as an armoured personal carrier, the crew housing was removed and fitted with the upper armoured sections from a genuine wartime Marder III, which created this Panzerjäger. The self-propelled gun took part in the arena battles throughout the weekend.
Firmly established as one of the leading military vehicles shows on the south coast, The Overlord Show, held at The Lawns, Denmead in Hampshire, on the bank holiday weekend at the end of May, raised the bar once more in terms of high quality.
There were more than 300 military vehicles on display across three fields and enough military trade stands for visitors to have formed their own small army unit by late afternoon.
