Set in a splendid former military keep designed to look like a Norman Castle, The Keep Military Museum successfully nods to the past with an eye firmly on the future.

This well-stocked museum in Dorchester was established to educate, inspire and honour the sacrifices made by members of the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment and its antecedents, along with Dorset Yeomanry from 1685 onwards. It takes visitors on a journey through military history that spans four centuries but, perhaps just as importantly, it’s readying for the future with plans for a full redesign and substantial online and social media presence.
