As predicted, the gradual easing of the various levels of lockdown across the UK and Europe has seen many vehicles come onto the market along with some successful sales. There have been some truly wonderful vehicles for sale – and not at knockdown Covid-19 prices. We have had a dozen jeeps at over £21,000 and some healthy entry level ones at between £8,000 and £15,000 depending on the level of work needed. An unusual offering of an 1958 dated 6-volt M201 Jeep engine at £4,750 sparked a lot of interest as it didn’t have the usual ‘giveaway’ Hotchkiss ancillaries but proper wartime ones.
