We have just finished restoring our VW Type 82

Kübelwagen, which many of you will know is a military light utility vehicle designed by Ferdinand Porsche and built by Volkswagen during World War Two for extensive use by the German military (both the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS).

Based heavily on the VW Beatle, it was produced in large quantities from 1940- 45 (50,435) in addition to 2,490 produced by the British military in 1945. It had an air cooled 1,131cc (25hp) engine.
