WITH THE establishment of Britain’s first airborne formations in June 1940, it was quickly realised that the specialist parachute and gliderborne infantry would need lightweight vehicles to help them reach their objective, for reconnaissance, and to carry messages. It is to this history Royal Enfield look to with the Classic 500 Pegasus.
