The Luftwaffe’s first ‘tactical’ A400M, 54+07 (c/n M043) of Lufttransportgeschwader 62 arrives at Cologne-Bonn Airport on February 1. The aircraft was transporting materiel and personnel to Pristina, Kosovo and Incirlik Air Base in Turkey.

THE SIXTH A400M in Luftwaffe service — the first example with ‘tactical’ capabilities — was handed over to the Luftwaffe on December 15. All aircraft will be retroff tted to the new standard and receive subsequent enhancements as they are certified.
