At some time in our lives, most of us will have had a go at putting a model kit together. We’ve probably been to the model bought our favourite vehicle in miniature or constructed something we know we’ll never own the full-scale version of. But, what if an off the shelf 1:35th scale plastic model just doesn’t do it for you?

There are various manufacturers who make kits in 1:16th or even 1:6th scale, but these are often expensive and are built to a price, so sometimes the quality and little details suffer
