Museum of the Month: Treasure Trove

Located in the historic War Memorial Building in downtown Nashville, Tennessee with its striking memorials dedicated to World War Two, Korea and Vietnam, is the Military Branch of the Tennessee State Museum.

Behind unassuming double doors at one end of the building, is a treasure trove of America’s involvement in overseas conflicts – beginning with the Spanish-American War in 1898 and ending with the Vietnam War. Entry is free, although staff welcome a donation that goes towards restoring future exhibits for display.
