BUILDING ON HUGE success in the US domestic market in terms of training variant sales, the T-6 has failed to achieve notoriety as a light strike platform, despite repeated efforts by its manufacturer to position it as such. The Embraer A-29 Super Tucano has been far more successful internationally in this role, although in a training capacity the T-6 has earned a series of notable wins.
