It may seem strange to include an aviation museum in a magazine dedicated to military vehicles, but this report refers specifically to the Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum’s airborne forces display.

This collection was put together with the help of a former colleague of mine, Jim Kilbride, and I recently took the opportunity to visit the museum.

Housed in a dedicated hanger, the airborne forces display is dominated by an almost complete Hadrian Glider that was donated by the Assault Glider Trust.
