Nigel Hay looks at some of the best sellers on the market
Military Vehicle Market

Much has been made in recent months of the rising prices of good wartime Jeeps. This shows no sign of stopping, with one trader offering a choice of three, Normandy ready, from £22,500 upwards. We have seen more Jeeps for sale than ever during the past four weeks – and plenty have sold. At the project end of the market, there are understandably fewer coming up for sale – the glory days are gone. Most Jeeps coming through Milweb are older restorations, some totally refreshed and most ready to roll. But the lowest priced project wartime Jeep we have seen for a long time is a Willys MB rolling chassis with the all-important NOVA title. With an early Willys engine, T90 gearbox and transfer box, it looked very viable at £3,750.
