A HIGHLY-PRAISED project aiming to encourage interest in the Great War among the young has been shortlisted for a national award. WW1 Soldier’s Tale was launched in June 2014 by DNA and uses Facebook and Twitter to explain real history and experiences through the stories of a fictional soldier, Walter Carter, and has been chosen as one of 16 finalists at the national Remember WW1 Awards.
