The US has supplied Javelin and the Germans the Panzerfaust 3s to the Ukrainians but it is the UK’s nextgeneration light anti-tank weapon (NLAW) that has seemingly made the most impact on the battlefield.
Loved by the Ukrainian troops and praised by their officers, it has cut a swathe through Russian armoured columns. So why has it proved so effective? After all, man-portable anti-tank weapons are nothing new.
