THE GROUP, LED BY CONSTANTINO DAVIDHOFF AND INCLUDING ARGENTINE MILITARY PERSONNEL, LANDED WITHOUT AUTHORISATION ON MARCH 19, 1982. DIPLOMATIC PROTESTS PROVED FRUITLESS AND HMS ‘ENDURANCE’ LANDED A PARTY TO EVICT THE GROUP. THIS PHOTOGRAPH WAS CONFISCATED AS EVIDENCE OF HOSTILE INTENTIONS.
