V for Victory

The annual military Victory Show in Leicestershire continues to deliver on its well-earned reputation for excellence, writes George Colclough

This year’s Victory Show more than lived up to its well-earned reputation as one of the best military events in the country. It offered a diverse range of restored military vehicles of all shapes and sizes, dedicated re-enactment groups portraying multiple nations, and a small yet evocative air show to boot.

Once again the show was held at Foxland’s Farm in Leicestershire, on the outskirts of the small village of Cosby, a convenient location just off the M1.

The organisers had made of the 100-acre site – centring it around a large cluster of re-enactment and military vehicle displays with smaller satellite areas circling the perimeter.

Aviation fans were certainly well catered for as throughout the weekend a whole squadron of beautiful, airworthy vintage aircraft was out in force. excellent use
