He’s certainly paid tribute to them here. Particularly interesting are the many previously untold first-hand accounts of covert signal intelligence intercepts, the hidden work of the X-Craft and COPP (Combined Operations Pilotage Parties) diver teams who scoured the French coast months before D-Day and the agent running operations orchestrated by the British.
