The e for buying Jeeps continues unabated and so it does for much of the ‘ready to go Allied soft-skin vehicles that are coming onto the market in the final few weeks before Normandy.
If you have £18,000 or more in the bank earning a paltry 0.5% interest, you could do worse than go and buy a Jeep and have some fun and see it increase in value at a better percentage rate. But it’s the ‘fun’ aspect you cannot put a value on. This year will see the largest commemoration events ever held and the longest convoys. But it won’t all suddenly stop at the end of the year. The military vehicle hobby, along with the reenactment and vintage lifestyle world is stronger than ever and sees no signs of slowing down.
There are more shows and events to participate in than ever and a full business network to support the hobby. If anything causes a spike in page visits on Milweb, it is anything World War Two German arriving for sale. The market for ‘Wehrmachtabilia' has grown exponentially in the past few years and it is truly worldwide - there are even Schwimmwagens and Kubels in Hong Kong now.
