Stereoscopes make history come alive – as Craig Moore discovers
Stereoscopes and viewer cards can be bought on eBay
Last year I went to the local and family history library, in Calverley Street, Leeds, hunting for information on the Leeds 1917 Tank Week event and its Presentation Tank. Having found what I went for, I asked the librarian if they had any more documents about World War One tanks. “No,” he replied, “but we do have some Stereoscope card sets of the First World War and a viewer. Would you like to see them?”
